PRODUCING YOUR ARTWORK
Each piece is created with precision and care. Made of hand-sanded hardwood plywood. The piece is laser cut and engraved, hand painted, and assembled.

Design
This design is offered in a curated style for consistency and quality. Fonts, layout, and character proportions are fixed to maintain quality and consistency.
Expanded customization is considered custom work and may require an additional fee.

Color
Our paint is a unique stain/gel coloring that gives vibrant colors while still allowing the wood grain to show through. Due to the natural variations in wood, grain patterns and color absorption will vary from piece to piece, making each artwork one of a kind.
Color choices are limited to the available palette shown.
Requests for room-matching, exact color-matching, or custom colors outside the palette are considered custom work and require an additional fee.

Finish
Three or more coats of clear coat protect the sign for maximum indoor life. A hanger is attached to the back to make hanging your wall art quick and easy.
If you want to hang your artwork outdoors, please note that you will need to add a protective coating of spar urethane. The clear protective coat we regularly use is ideal for indoor use but will not protect from prolonged exposure to sun, rain, or snow.

THE PROCESS
We create your artwork in our Hawaiʻi Island workshop and studio with care and attention to detail. Production typically takes 10–14 BUSINESS DAYS from the time we receive your order.
Production time does NOT include shipping time.
If your order includes customization, a digital proof will be sent for approval before production begins.
Digital drafts do NOT include colors — design only.
This listing includes up to two digital drafts and minor text adjustments.
Excessive revisions, layout changes, or detailed design modifications are considered custom work and require an additional fee.
All of our products are handmade. Designed by us. Laser cut and engraved, then hand painted and assembled. No mass production here.
Because each item is made to order, designs can be duplicated — but every board is distinct, and each piece is hand painted or stained, so the final result will always be unique.
Please note that screen colors may not accurately reflect the finished artwork.

SHIPPING
After your artwork is completed, it will be carefully packaged and shipped using UPS Ground, USPS Ground Advantage, or USPS Priority Mail, whichever is best for your address.
Due to size and packaging requirements, 24″ signs ship at calculated rates.
To remain eco-friendly and cost-effective, we reuse packaging materials whenever possible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is the production time so long?
We make everything to order. We are a one-person studio — not a big-box store or reseller with inventory sitting on shelves. Orders are created in the order received.
During production, there are multiple stages where we are literally waiting for paint, glue, or clear coat to dry. Quality takes time.
Rush Processing is available for a fee. This places your order at the top of the queue and typically reduces production time to about 5 business days (smaller items may be faster). Rush Processing does not include expedited shipping.

How long does it take and when will my item ship?
Production times vary:
• Christmas ornaments: ~7–10 days
• Most custom tavern signs: ~2 weeks
• Very large items: up to 6 weeks
When your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking notification.
We primarily ship via USPS Ground Advantage. USPS Priority added size-based surcharges that significantly increased shipping costs. Ground Advantage allows us to keep prices reasonable without sacrificing quality.
We are located in a rural area with no local USPS service. Our post office is over 30 minutes away, and we make postal runs twice per week (usually Tuesday and Thursday).

What is your process?
Standard (non-custom) wall designs:
1. Laser cut and engraved
2. Hand-sanded multiple times
3. Painted (airbrushed larger areas, hand-painted details)
4. Initial clear coat
5. Backer added for durability
6. Multiple clear coats with sanding between layers
7. Hanging hardware installed
8. Final inspection and shipment
Custom or personalized designs include additional design time, digital drafts, and revisions prior to production.

Do you create your own designs?
Yes. All designs are original and created by us. We do not sell designs created by others.

Care instructions
Wipe gently with a soft cloth and wood polish.
For covered outdoor areas, spar urethane is recommended. Touch-ups should be done every 6–12 months. We do not recommend full outdoor exposure.

Gift wrapping and packaging
We do not currently offer gift wrapping. Items are wrapped securely for shipping — functional, not fancy. The fine art of decorative paper folding currently eludes us.

Local pickup
Yes. Local pickup is available within 5 miles of Mountain View, Hawaiʻi, Monday–Friday, 8–5.

Will my order be exactly like the photo?
We try — but wood has opinions. Grain, tone, and paint absorption vary naturally.
Slight differences from listing photos are normal and not considered damage.

Eco-friendly shipping
We reuse cardboard and boxes whenever possible to reduce waste and keep shipping costs down. Pretty packaging adds cost — we’d rather put that into the artwork itself.

I need my item faster
Contact us about Rush Processing. It’s usually faster and more cost-effective than Priority Express, which does not reduce production time and offers no delivery guarantee.

My order arrived damaged
Please notify us within 72 hours and include photos of:
• The box (all sides)
• Packing materials
• The damage
We will replace the item and file a claim with the carrier.
Color or wood variation is not considered damage.

Do you offer a warranty?
Short answer: no.
However, if a material flaw causes an issue shortly after delivery, contact us. We do our best to resolve legitimate problems.
Wood naturally reacts to sunlight, humidity, and environmental conditions over time. These changes are not grounds for replacement or refund.
