Handmade Laser Engraved Koa Wood Earrings made on the Big Island of Hawaii. Inlayed with abalone shell depicting a Koru.

These koa wood earrings illustrate the koru (a Maori design).  The Koru, represents the fern frond as it opens bringing new life and purity to the world. It represents a new life, love or beginning in the circle of life.

Koa Wood is legendary in Hawaii. Not only is this amazing wood native to Hawaii but it is known for the deep rich colors and varied grain pattern. Koa has honored heritage in Hawaii and is highly revered and sacred. These earrings are made from 100% reclaimed koa wood. Thicknesses may vary are ~ .14″ thick.
After handing finishing and engraving, the earrings are sealed with a clear coat enamel to preserve the wood and keep them looking beautiful.

Koa wood is prized for having a wide variety of color and grain character, therefore the earrings you receive may not be an exact match to the photographs.

Because each item is made to order, the item can be duplicated, but keep in mind every board is distinct and each piece is hand painted/stained so the end results will be unique!

All of our products are handmade. Designed by us. Laser cut/engraved, then hand painted and assembled. No mass production here.
